THE LIFEHOUSE AT CROOKED TREE RANCH

our mission:

RESCUE, SHELTER, and RESTORE exploited persons to a place of:

HOPE, FREEDOM and a FUTURE for every survivor.

our purpose:

The LifeHouse is an integrated shelter for adult female victims of human trafficking who have been victims of exploitation. Our program is geared at meeting our residents' individual needs and recovery goals and includes medical, mental, and emotional care. We are staffed by volunteers, a case manager, a house manager, and clinical partners to provide victims with various services such as art and equine therapy, health care, legal assistance, and occupational training. Our program consists of three phases where a survivor can heal and begin her transition into recovery. Our approach and strategy are trauma-informed and victim-centered.

our plan:

Phase 1 (Intake Phase)

  •  It is approximately two weeks long and designed to help quiet a resident's anxieties and fears. The house manager and case manager will help her with daily living activities.

Phase 2

  • Marks the start of programming and will include individual therapy, health assessments, and addressing other concrete needs.

Phase 3

  •  It is a time when the resident begins taking steps to achieve individual goals, such as attending school or preparing for a new job.

our promise:

While staying at The LifeHouse, residents should expect the following conditions:

You have the right to reside in a sober and drug-free facility.

LifeHouse is a sober, drug-free home. We firmly believe that this type of environment offers the most authentic opportunity to find the person you desire to be.

You have the right to reside in a violence-free facility.

You have the right to be respected.

You have the right to be safe.
