The ultimate end for The LifeGuard Group is to see human trafficking victims to re-identify themselves as a survivor. The depth of brokenness that they have experienced in their lifetime, from torture to mental manipulation, they have developed what they would classify as a “new normal.” For some, it is all that they know; abuse, neglect, detachment, and survival. They have convinced themselves, as a means of survival, that they must get through this on their own. They trust very few, and even then, it is limited. Helping an individual come to the place of a healthy self actualization, they need someone to come alongside of them in this journey we call RESTORE.
